In the large family camping, I’d like the daughter, the eldest, the youngest, the youngest … and a great vacation!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

A good idea is to come for a weekend in May, June or September to enjoy the pools, the sun and the large playground, at prices four times lower than in summer.You can rent a 3-flower 2- or 3-bedroom cottage from \u20ac150 for the weekend, or pitch a tent on our grassy pitches from \u20ac30 to \u20ac80 per night for 5 people during this period. Rentals and pitches are also cheaper until mid-July. <\/p>\n\n

Don’t forget to bring your balls, ping-pong rackets and bicycles, especially those of the children, who will be able to ride independently around the campsite. We guarantee you a 100% unplugged weekend! Here are our ideas for things to do for a large family without breaking the bank.<\/p>\n\n

Saturday morning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Walk to the Doussard lake end reserve<\/strong> (1.7 km from the campsite – 2 hrs return).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easy, accessible to the very young as it’s flat.A turret in the middle of the reserve offers a lovely view of the lake and will motivate little explorers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best place to park is in the Reserve’s free parking lot behind Bob Pizza.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Saturday afternoon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Take full advantage of the campsite’s facilities: pools<\/strong>, slides<\/strong>, whirlpools, playground<\/strong>, city stadium, kids won’t want to stop!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the late afternoon, we head for the Col de la Forclaz (Montmin), a 20-minute drive away.Park at the pass and walk up to the paraglider departure point for a magnificent view of the lake. 30 min AR. It’s a bit of a climb, but well worth it. On the way back, you can enjoy an aperitif or stay for lunch at one of the 3 restaurants on the pass: La Ferme (perfect with young children), la Pricaz or l’Edelweiss.The quality\/sight\/price ratio is very good. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sunday: Short hike in Angon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Short hike to Cascade d’Angon (10 min from campsite by car). It makes you want to walk because there’s a magnificent waterfall at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 3 different itineraries, with varying degrees of steepness, but it’s a safe, family-friendly walk.Beware of slippery rocks, however, as there are cables to hold on to and fencing to prevent falls.This is an interesting walk that appeals to children, motivating little adventurers to climb and hold on to the cables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Program for a week’s stay for a large, thrifty family<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our least expensive rentals are in the 3-flower range, for 4 to 6 people. Every year, we offer early booking discounts of up to 10%, depending on the period and conditions.The early July period is also always less expensive. It’s best to book as early as possible! Our campsites offer free entertainment in July and August. Swimming pools, playgrounds and waterslides will keep you busy for days on end. Beach day in Doussard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the morning, take advantage of the cooler weather to visit the Bout du lac nature reserve, just one km from the campsite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right next door is the large Doussard beach.The best way to get there in summer is to take the free shuttle bus<\/strong> that passes in front of the campsite. It saves you a day’s parking at the beach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, there’s plenty of fun to be had at Doussard’s free, supervised beach.There’s a well-defined paddling pool, a diving platform and a large pool. Beware of sensitive feet: the floor is made up of pebbles.You can also hire a pedalo with slide<\/strong> for an hour, just to test out the open sea. Indicative rentals in 2025: 1 hour 22\u20ac for 4 (without slide) or 25\u20ac with slide. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: Enjoy our water parks to your heart’s content<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Take advantage of the campsite’s swimming pools, friendly bar and play areas.Each of our campsites has large swimming pools and waterslides<\/strong>. For the little ones, paddling pools and water games are available in all areas. Your children will have hours of fun. But the slides are also accessible to parents! Otherwise, the deckchairs facing the mountains will let you relax while staying close by. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In high season, activities take place Monday to Friday evenings and are free of charge. Don’t forget to download theCool’n Camp app<\/strong> to be informed of the program in real time. Plan your week around the activities that appeal to you! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Day 3: Day trip to Annecy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The best way to get to Annecy in summer is to take the cheapest bus from Duingt<\/strong>. 15A Link : here<\/a><\/strong>The line takes you every 30 minutes: you avoid traffic jams and paid parking downtown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duingt is 5km from the campsites, and you can park your car free of charge at the beach parking lot. On leaving the village of Duingt, turn left at the roundabout in the direction of Entrevernes, which is 50m away, a grassy parking lot where camper vans are not allowed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also take the Y51 line, which stops at the “Chez Ma Cousine” restaurant in Doussard<\/strong>, less than 1 km from the campsites on foot. The one-way fare is \u20ac3.80 and timetables are here<\/a>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maps are available from the Bonlieu tourist office. Annecy is very easy on the family with its many squares designed for children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our advice: eat on the go in the Jardins de l’Europe or P\u00e2quier, but enjoy a good home-made ice cream.<\/p>\n\n\n

Day 4: Easy family hikes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You don’t have to be a great walker, but you can still walk for two to three hours. We’ve put together a list of hikes and walks that are child-friendly (yes, yes, it’s possible!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
